Role Details
DWS continues its journey as a publicly listed asset manager since its IPO and is in the process of establishing its own infrastructure and corporate functions, including Compliance & Anti-Financial Crime (AFC). This role is located within the Compliance Advisory team as part of the local US Compliance & AFC function. You will identify & assess materiality of sanction regimes on DWS business activities & provide business advisory according to regulatory requirements.
As a/an Senior Team Lead AFC & Compliance, you will (be):
• Support in set-up of sanction radar process, accounting for asset management specifics
• Align with Deutsche Bank Group on methodological approach and applicability as necessary
• Conduct quality assurance on identified materiality & applicability assessments
• Update Compliance & business management on major changes in global sanction regime
• Monitor & document enforcement of required changes to account for compliance with current sanction regimes
• Provide guidance on sanction-related issues/requests to the Business We are looking for:
• University degree, preferably in law or comparable
• Financial Crime professional with a background and strong knowledge of global and local laws, regulations, and sanction regimes
• Experience in dealing with regulations and/or regulation analysis and implementation
• Independent way of working, high reliability and eye for detail
• Interpersonal and communication skills How You'll Lead:
• Interact with Deutsche Bank Group stakeholders from Compliance and AFC
• Support development of framework to classify applicability & materiality assessment of sanction regimes for DWS What we'll offer you:

The salary range for this position in New York is $122,000 to $206,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
